What is better and more economical than a wood burning fireplace? gas, electric or pellet?


We currently have a fireplace. We would like an insert. Suggestions for the electricity or gas or pellet? What are the advantages or disadvantages? Cost? Install? DIY?

What is the minimum acceptable oxygen level in a neighborhood full of exhausting pellet and wood stoves?

The DEP and EPA standards are residential or local ordinances, such protection? I have an oil burner and my house is in a valley and soot covers my siding and vehicles, carbon dioxide is in the valley?

alrihgt living in ct. and I wanted a pellet gun real bad I’m 13 and my brother bought it for, since he was 18 and you must be so old. I throw in my timber and store in a hole with a bad suit, where nobody would find. And my parents will flip if they knew that. but if my neighbors saw me and called the police which would result from minor and I do not think my property, and it could start killing birds and other things with him?

Can I use my existing chimney for a pellet stove?

I have a wood stove, but after recent research has included my chimney is not good. I have about 5 boxes cracked combustion. I decided to sell the wood stove and buy a pellet stove. If I buy a pellet stove I can exhaust into the chimney? I understand that the pellet stove has a “three combustion and takes much less heat and emissions from a wood oven. Yes, I know all you have to do is to leave the house and “T” my escape, but I intend to put the fire in my wood stove. This is only temporary until next year when we can shoot down the chimney.
